Matter of Survival
During those natural disasters and emergencies, one of the things that rescue teams gave out to the victims is a 2400 calorie food bar. If you are thinking about it, this is a pretty large sum of calorie count, but when you are tired and worn out after having survived a tragedy, then this is simply what you will need to keep you energized for a few days. This is particularly helpful during those times when there are no food supplies you can find anywhere and you have no way of preparing food for you and your family.
These things can go for many years in your pantry, a shelf life of up to 5 years. Having these around is the best bet when you are faced during those moments where everything is but a matter of survival. The food bar contains all the required nutrients and calories victims need so they can sustain even without food for days on end. When these things are in your home, you can be assured that you and your family will be able to bear it all regardless of what tragedy may strike in your neighborhood.
Family First
As the head of the family, I must go through great lengths to ensure that my wife and children are always safe. That is the reason why I work hard so they can live in a peaceful and secure neighborhood, and invest on things around the house that would assure me of their safety at all times. I cannot imagine losing even one of them, I would rather spare my own life than to see any one of my family suffer. It is a tough world out there, and I try my best to protect my family from anything that may hurt them.
For me family comes first, and that is why I keep a 4 person survival kit for uncontrollable situations that are likely to occur. After looking at how some of the natural disasters have taken a toll on various parts of the country and the world, I would want to remain confident in making sure that my family has better chances of surviving these mishaps. Natural disasters are something I have no influence over, but getting through these things is something I can be prepared for. I wouldn’t risk anything bad happening to my girls.
